Mr. Lowry is AV-rated* under Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system. Akron Life and Leisure Magazine recognized him as the only top divorce lawyer in Summit County. Mr. Lowry was the first lawyer in the Akron area to be elected into the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an exclusive group with fewer than 50 lawyers from the state of Ohio. Northern Ohio Live selected Mr. Lowry as the only representative from Summit County on a list of the top eight divorce lawyers in Northeast Ohio.
Mora Lowry has practiced family law exclusively since 1999. She is upholding the proud tradition of the firm in providing caring and assertive representation to people facing difficult domestic relations issues. Mora Lowry also served as a court-appointed mediator for Summit County and Guardian ad Litem for children who need strong, responsible advocacy. As a student at the University of Akron School of Law, Mora Lowry received the Constitutional Law award. . Mora Lowry was also recognized in 2007 with the Murray Glauberman Young Leadership Award.
Marisa Lowry graduated with honors with a degree in Family Studies and a minor in Psychology and Sociology with a focus on children and families. She graduated from The University of Akron School of Law where she focused her studies on business and family law. She received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Elder Law, an award given to the highest scoring student in the class. Marisa Lowry interned at Summit County Court Family Services where she focused specifically on children of divorce. Additionally, Marisa Lowry is certified as a family law mediator.
